SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
This position will provide product support for a variety of components and electrical systems. The position will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems, while working to meet agreed upon cost and schedule commitments.
The candidate should be able to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical assembly drawings, building layouts in order to analyze complex problems and identify root cause issues and develop innovative solutions. Ability to work across disciplines with mechanical engineers, software engineers, manufacturing personnel, and field personnel is required.
Qualifications:
- Sound electrical engineering background (wiring diagrams, systems analysis, motor and control applications, and control logic)
- Systems knowledge
- Control System Logic and Power Electronics
- Experience working with code and enforcement agencies. i.e. CSA, ASME, NFPA, TSSA, and AHJ’s
- Experience working with suppliers/3rd parties
- Experience with test and measurement equipment
- Understanding of mechanical and software functions
- Strong communications skills and leadership ability
- MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- ECAD tools (Cadence, E3, etc.)
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering with at least 5 years’ experience required. Relevant industry experience strongly preferred.
MA/MS degree with 3 to 5+ years’ experience
BA/BS degree with 5 to 10+ years’ experience
Salary 90k to 110k
