MECHANICAL ENGINEER
This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide design and technical support for the new product. The position will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems, while working to meet agreed upon cost and schedule commitments.
Typical responsibilities include design, structural analysis, documentation, and implementation of a wide variety of components. The candidate should have a strong mechanical engineering background and be able to work effectively in a cross functional team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to internal customers
- Modify and develop new component solutions to increase product robustness
- Support and resolve field issues
- Develop component and system level documentation for bill of material maintenance
- Support cost reduction efforts
Qualification:
- Strong intrapersonal communication skills
- Goal oriented, self-starter
- Creo / Pro Engineer or other 3D modeling software
- FEA analysis experience with Ansys or other
- Design simulation with Mathcad / Matlab / Maple
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Education:
- BSME Degree with 0 to 5 years’ experience
MA/MS degree with 0 to 3 years’ experience
