Senior Financial Analyst

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Finance or Accounting or related field; 6+ Years of Financial Analysis experience or equivalent; Ability to work effectively across functions and across different business units; Strong analytical, leadership and problem resolution skills; Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of an organization & strong interpersonal skills; Strong organization skills and results oriented attitude ; Excellent MS Excel (or equivalent) skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Financial modeling


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide financial leadership to 10 industry segment business leaders and 10 support function leaders during planning cycles, perform analytics and present key business performance metrics to leadership team (SI, SII, OP, SRO); Drive financial modeling improvements in the planning and forecasting models to enhance process efficiency, support new initiatives and to accurately capture the changing economics or structure of the business; Assist in the preparation of Pitches associated with Planning cycles, monthly Management Reviews, and on ad-hoc basis as required; Frequent interaction with Functional Leaders to provide insight and metrics that promotes sound decision-making and ensures delivery of financial commitments; Participate on cross functional process improvement teams to drive operational efficiencies, promote expense saving ideas and concepts within the company and propose overall cost reduction programs to management; Development of critical analysis of business results (e.g. - Trend Analysis, Productivity Metrics, etc); Strive for continuous improvements in the financial reporting package provided to the senior leadership team for monthly and quarterly close results; Preparation of quarterly financial forecasts with comparison to plan, develop process for identifying and articulating risks and opportunities relevant to the forecast period; Drive growth through partnering with marketing and operations by providing finance lead on non-price pricing leakage / opportunities. Develop metrics to identify non-price price enhancement opportunities; Develop and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with Operations, Marketing, Controllership and other departments as needed to accomplish goals; Provide assistance on Acquisition due diligence and integration as required; Participate in the development of the FMP rotation
