SCOPE OF POSITION
The Marketing Consultant will serve to provide Sales and Brand Growth
leadership, communication and training to one of the seven Operations
Services Areas as appropriate. Marketing expertise at the national, market
and local store level will be developed and shared. The ability to communicate
well, both one on one and in group settings, will be a critical skill.
The ability to achieve results through others is essential. The role requires
a self starter who works well both independently and in team settings.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a high workload capacity,
highly organized and a possess a strong results orientation. The Marketing
Consultant will have four primary "clients" with specific functions
and responsibilities related to each as outlined below.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Restaurant Operators:
- assist in the education and training
- provide advice and counsel on an individual and market basis
- assist in the communication of needed tools
- provide direction and counsel in development of market and local marketing
plans
- provide marketing leadership to Operators in assigned service team
area
Operations Services Team:
- serve as marketing department communications liaison
- provide training as needed (both group and individual)
- provide marketing leadership and subject matter expertise
- provide marketing services as directed by the team
Marketing Consultant Infrastructure:
- provide advice, counsel and encouragement to Area Marketing Director
and Unit Marketing Directors
- assist in training and development of Area Marketing Directors and
Unit Marketing Directors
- assist in leveraging of tools needed by Area Marketing Directors and
Unit Marketing Directors
- provide marketing leadership and subject matter expertise
Marketing Department:
- provide input to national, market and local level marketing strategies
- assist in communication and execution of national, market and local
level strategies
- work on projects and special assignments as needed
