Mechanical Engineer - 4 Positions |
| 4 Years with a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics: BSME/BSCE/BSAE and a minimum of 8 years of directly related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with integration design for military rotary wing aircraft or other similar structural devices is required. CAD experience required (AutoCad 14 to 2004 preferred). 3-D modeling (Inventor preferred) skills are also required. Must be capable of performing all aspects of design and analysis to support aircraft primary and secondary structural modifications, mechanical/equipment integration. Design tasks include, but are not limited to, sheet metal/machine part design, assembly/installation design, hardware selection, fastening/joining, raw material selection, selection and specification of composite materials when required, and production support. Analysis tasks include, but are not limited to, determining static and dynamic loading, performing analytical calculations and using FEA to substantiate design, and writing associated reports. Strong communication skills, ability to work with limited supervision, and the ability to guide and direct the efforts of junior engineers is also required.
