Global Materials Leader

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS or BA in Business or Technical (ME, IE, EE, etc) discipline
- 2 years of material distribution experience or equivalent
- 5 years product development experience
- Process knowledge of manufacturing functions including order fulfillment, shipping, inventory control
- Working knowledge of Materials management system - specifically Oracle
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a global, cross-functional organization
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement Best Practices
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the Global OPSI and Materials activities for all our production facilities in the US, Japan and India. This includes developing and executing OPSI and Materials strategy across all global cross-functional teams formulating and implementing material flow and logistics strategies. Lead and facilitate cross-functional planning and scheduling of Business to meet requirements. Provide boundaryless leadership with Sourcing and Operations ensuring optimal asset utilization. Lead implementation and operationalization of material replenishment processes. Develop and execute inventory plans and responsible for inventory accuracy and transactional quality. Successful candidate will have a strong quality mindset, high energy, and commitment to results, strong people skills and the ability to energize, motivate and communicate.

DESIRED:

- MS in Engineering or MBA
- 10 years product development experience
- Business acumen and understanding of operational finance
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing teams
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
