Business Team Leader

QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS in Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years production or related experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work in a cross functional organization
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement Best Practices
- Certified Green Belt

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead a team of 80+ production associates, technicians and engineers across three shifts in the assembly & testing of products. Drive Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and other strategic initiatives to improve product quality, performance and flow. Own and deliver key Cost Conversion Productivity metrics including yield, scrap, variable compensation, liquidations, production linearity and inventory. Work closely with Materials, Sourcing, Engineering & NPI teams to deliver the next generation Technology. Successful candidate will have strong safety mindset, high energy, commitment to results, strong people skills and the ability to energize, motivate and communicate.

DESIRED:

- MS in Engineering or MBA
- Business acumen and understanding of operational finance
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
- Design for Six Sigma Training and Certification
- Engineering design experience
- Effective global teamwork experience
