New Business Development manager position resides within the Corporate
Development and Strategy organization with a primary focus on providing
commercial support and market research for programs within the Emerging
Technologies group.
90% Work closely with the Emerging Technologies Group to facilitate movement
of programs into viable business opportunities. Activities include:
- Commercial support to existing or planned projects which includes
performing market research, developing market assessments and segmentation
analyses and business models scenarios
- Proactive identification of potential new market platform opportunities
for the company through internal and external activities
- Active participation on product development teams
- Market guidance and perspective to Research
- Communication of strategies and actions to senior management10%
- Work on Other Business Development Activities in the Corporate Development
and Strategy Group
Reports to Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy
Some travel required
Prefer Technology Management Degree or MBA
Undergraduate technical degree
Minimum of 5 years work experience
Market research experience and Business development experience desired
